Movement has always been part of my life and has carried me through many phases—but this past year, it became my anchor through grief. On days when words failed me, movement carried me forward—one step, one mile, one breath at a time. Forward was and is the pace.
Running through that grief taught me that strength isn’t just about muscle or endurance. It’s about showing up when your heart feels heavy and words fail, choosing to move anyway, and trusting that healing can happen in motion
That belief sits at the core of my life and work in wellness—helping women feel confident, capable, and connected to their bodies again, both physically and emotionally.
Sharing that journey has been one of the most powerful parts of my healing. Through my platform in wellness, the community I’m lucky to work alongside, the fitness connections I’ve built, and even sharing movement with my nieces, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when women move together. There is something extraordinary about shared strength—about remembering who you are beneath the weight you’ve been carrying.
Strong Girls United represents everything I believe in: movement as empowerment, connection, and resilience. This Chicago Marathon isn’t just about crossing a finish line. It’s about honoring where I’ve been, how I’ve grown, and helping other women feel strong enough to keep going—no matter what season they’re in.
You’re not only donating so I can run (though completing a world race has become a meaningful goal of mine). You’re supporting an organization that teaches girls how to move through hard things—so they can move past them and find strength on the other side.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Every step truly matters. 🖤🏃♀️
