A MESSAGE FROM Podaras Run
For 27 years, I have stood on the front lines of cancer care as an oncology nurse. Since 1999, I have held the hands of patients, supported families through their darkest hours, and witnessed the profound impact of this disease firsthand. Every day, my patients teach me about resilience, hope, and the urgent need for better treatments.
That is why I am stepping out of the clinic and onto the pavement to run for Project Purple.
Thank you for joining the Project Purple community and supporting our efforts to find a world without pancreatic cancer. By donating or sharing my journey, you are joining a community of like-minded and driven individuals that will stop at nothing to support those battling pancreatic cancer, raise awareness, and fund research for this disease.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest diagnoses a person can face, but I know that together, we can change the narrative. Your support fuels the research that will bring early detection and a cure closer to reality.
Thank you for standing with me, with my patients, and with everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. Let's make every mile count!
