Yes, yes... I'm doing it again. April 2027, I'll be returning to Run Disney with team Brave Like Gabe, because when a cause and a mission changes and essentially saves your life, you do everything you can to support that mission in return. I think this will be my technically be my 6th??? time racing for Brave Like Gabe, but if you know me, you know that just about every race I proudly represent them, every chance I get, I'll talk about Gabe and the importance of what she started, and what we all now do to carry on her legacy. And my life is truly "run" on hope, her mantra. The last time I ran for team Brave Like Gabe, the representative from the charity referred to me as their "team mascot" on one of our group calls, and I've never felt so seen and honored in my life. The fundraising they do is so important. It enables such important research. And the lives they save and the people that are inspired are endless... Myself included 🩵.
