Hereditary cancer has impacted my family in deeply personal ways. I never had the chance to meet my grandmother because she passed away from breast cancer before I was born. She was not the only member of my family to pass prematurely from hereditary cancer. Growing up, I’ve watched my family take difficult steps to try to stay cancer-free, and I know many other families face these same challenges. That’s why supporting FORCE is important to me. They provide education, support, and advocacy for individuals and families facing hereditary cancer risk. Growing up in New Jersey, running the NYC Marathon has been a childhood dream of mine. Being able to realize that dream while raising money for a cause that has impacted my family has significant meaning to me. Any donation, big or small, is truly appreciated.
