A MESSAGE FROM Team YES
Youth Enrichment Services (YES) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable and impactful sports-based youth development and leadership programming for children and teens in Boston. Founded in 1968 by Richard Williams, YES is committed to the transformative power of engaging youth in active outdoor activities. Our mission is to inspire young people through outdoor experiences and leadership opportunities that build confidence and equip them to overcome life’s challenges.
YES offers Boston youth the chance to experience the outdoors, develop confidence, and build leadership skills through year-round sports programs. We prioritize serving low- and moderate-income youth, particularly those in the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, and Jamaica Plain.
All youth at YES are Boston residents, and we welcome young people from all racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Currently, YES serves more than 1,200 children and teens annually. Acceptance into YES programs, as well as sliding scale fees, are based on need and determined by household income and residency in our focus neighborhoods.
