A MESSAGE FROM Abigail's Fundraising Page
I’m running the Berlin Marathon with the Allyson Whitney Foundation! This organization supports young adults navigating cancer at a time when life should be full of momentum, not uncertainty.
If you know me, you know I’m always chasing something big, whether it’s a story, a finish line, or the next challenge that pushes me forward. This one means more. Training for a marathon is tough, but it’s nothing compared to what these individuals face every day.
As a journalist, I’ve built my career around telling stories that matter and showing up when it counts. This race is an extension of that. Every mile is for someone who didn’t choose their fight but shows up anyway.
A little about me - I'm a Houston-based journalist and business owner. Family, God and fitness are probably the biggest pillars in my life. I've ran a marathon and a half Ironman - pushing the limit has always been a passion of mine.
If you’re able to support, I’d be incredibly grateful. And if not, just know I’ll be out there running 26.2 miles thinking about the people this foundation helps, and probably questioning my life choices around mile 20.
