Experiencing my son Isaiah enter elementary this past year and actively participating in his class and classroom initiatives it was very real to see and hear that there were kids whose only meal was during school hours. That hit home for me because my father and his siblings also experience childhood hunger. No child should ever have to go to bed at night wondering if they will have a meal to eat tomorrow.
