A MESSAGE FROM 2021 New York City Marathon - Adam Blasioli
For years, Central Park has been my refuge. It has served as my training ground, my great escape, and my energizing force. It has allowed me to feel lost in a canopy of trees and to connect to the heartbeat of millions. In a city where you can be anything, Central Park has always proven to be the place where I can be who I needed to be. This November I will call upon the park to help me be something I have never tried to be before - a marathoner.
As I run those final miles through the park, I will be doing so on behalf of the Central Park Conservancy - an organization committed to ensuring that Central Park remains a place where you can find the sanctuary you need. During these crazy times, the Conservancy has continued to care for the park when so many others have needed the park to care for them. It is why I humbly ask for your donation to help the Conservancy fulfill its mission to preserve the park and keep it as a refuge for us all.
