A MESSAGE FROM Pop Pop's Final Stomp Through The Five Boroughs
One final trip through the Five Boroughs and for a great cause that is near and dear to me. Stomp The Monster is a New Jersey-based not-for-profit that provides assistance to cancer patients and their families. It is a pleasure and a privilege to do a small part to assist them in their efforts. This is personal to me too. My family has been affected and impacted by cancer. It has attacked people in this world I love most of all. It has done likewise to my wife's family. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it more than I can rightly express.

    On my bad days I would tell mom how fed up I was with treatment and cancer and she knew exactly (if not more so!) what I meant when I said those words. Her words letting me know she ā€˜heard meā€™ and empathized with me ā€œyouā€™re entitledā€ it just healed me in that moment. Sadly so many of us know someone afflicted by this wicked disease, itā€™s virtually impossible not to! Run your race on 11/7 for yourself- for all the years and for all the miles logged, itā€™s time and in the immortal words of the sheer brilliance that was mom, ā€œyouā€™re entitledā€!!
