About six years ago, I set out on a journey with an aim to compete in the three domestic World Marathon Majors: Boston, Chicago, and New York. With the first two accomplished, the latter remains. The 2023 NYC Marathon will take place Sunday, November 5th. Instead of time qualifying, I decided to join a charity team and raise money for an organization that impacts the lives of people with healthcare needs, a service close to me as a healthcare administrator. Your donation will support the work of Allied Services, a non-profit health system helping people with disabilities in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania: making miracles in rehab, helping people regain health and independence after an injury, improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s or recovering from a stroke, empowering children to overcome a learning disability, and much more.
