The past year has been one filled with many exciting life changes. I turned 30, got married, moved to New York City and signed up to run the Chicago marathon!
Running the Chicago marathon has been a dream of mine for years; growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I always admired the determination and resilience of the athletes on marathon day. During the pandemic, my (now) wife and I took up running as a way to stay sane and in the years since, we've developed a deep love of the sport: the dedication and humility required to lace up ones shoes day after day, no matter the weather or extenuating life circumstances.
Now, I'm honored to be teaming up with the Morton Arboretum to tread the same path as countless other runners on my home turf! As someone who is passionate about the environment, running on behalf of Morton Arboretum is an exciting callback to my childhood, where I have fond memories of spending time roaming around the Arboretum with my family and friends. I wouldn't be able to do this without the support of everyone around me and if you'd like to consider donating or sharing this page, I'd be immensely grateful! No matter what you decide, please feel free to track my progress on Strava!
