I'm excited to be running the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon this November, partnering with the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation! The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation is an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer and transplant patients and their families by providing vital financial assistance, comprehensive resources, educational information, physical referrals, and emotional support programs. It is the only organization of its kind that does not limit assistance to a specific disease, type of transplant or age rage. All of the foundation's programs and services are offered to patients and their families free of charge.
The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation is an organization close to my heart as my Uncle, Robert (Bob) Fishman, a legendary CBS Sports director and Sports Broadcasting Hall of Famer, received a life-saving bone marrow transplant in 1990. My Uncle Bob is a founding member of the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation and currently serves on its Board of Directors. I can proudly say that Uncle Bob is one of the most influential people in my life and an inspiration to all those who know and follow him.
