Hi all! As many of you know I am an avid runner and lover of all things running related! When deciding to run the 2023 NYC half marathon I wanted to give back in some way, while also training and doing what I love! When I came across Michael’s cause I instantly felt a connection to Michael and his family. Michael’s cause is an organization started by Michael’s parents after he was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which turns out to be the leading fatal genetic childhood disease that affects about one in 3,500 boys worldwide. Michael’s father has single handedly helped save MANY families in which struggle with the expenses this disease encompasses. Your support will help Michael's Cause help fund the best medical and scientific research to help find better treatments and a cure for Duchenne. Any donation would mean the world to me and Michael’s family as we fight to combat Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy:)
