Hey everyone! I am so excited to tell you about what I am up to this fall. On November 7, 2026 (the day before my 38th birthday!), I will be running my first marathon. The best part is that I have joined Team IJM! International Justice Mission’s mission is “to protect people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing the criminals to justice, restoring survivors to safety and strength, and helping local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts”. What an honor it is to run for those who cannot. My local church partners with IJM, so this team “runs” close to home. My family and I have participated and volunteered for our Run for Justice. God’s heart is for justice, for helping the vulnerable, and for seeking out individuals as a demonstration of his abundant love. IJM does just that, and I want to play my part in seeing God’s kingdom mission move forward.
