After many doctors evaluated me I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 15 it changed my life forever. My mother drove me to every doctor and she is my everything my strength my world. I have been in and out of the hospital since I been diagnosed. I have Severe arthritis, I get horrible rashes all over my body especially my face, I constantly have viruses, part of my kidney is effected by this disease and some days I can not get out of bed. I choose to run on my good days and I am blessed that I have alot of good days. Sounds odd but I am honored that I have Lupus. This will be my 4th NYC marathon and I’m running for team life without lupus again! I thank my Mother so much! And Dino who is my world, my friends and Family who always support me with everything in my life.
