Dear Friends and Family,
In 14 weeks, on November 3rd, WE will run the New York City marathon for the second time.
5 years ago, we ran NYC for our best friendβs son, Leo, who suffers from a rare neurological disease. This November we will race for our brother to raise money and awareness for the Release Recovery Foundation, an organization that provides access to substance use disorder and mental health treatment for those who may not have the means to obtain life saving services.
The Release Recovery Foundation supported our family when we were struggling to find the right services for our brother. The care and support they provided saved our brother and we are determined to pay it forward β to give others the same opportunity to get their lives back on track. Unfortunately, there are many people who need care, but donβt survive because they canβt afford it.
On November 3rd, our goal crossing the finish line in Central Park is to give those who canβt afford care the same opportunity Alan was given. Alan is better than ever and continues to thrive. We would be so grateful for your support to help us reach our fundraising goal. (This is a shared fundraising page for both Amy and Sarah).
Together letβs Keep Going !

The Release Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all who are ready and willing to seek professional treatment, are able. Substance Use Disorder and mental illness destroy the lives of too many people from underserved communities who may not have the resources for proven treatments. The Release Foundation offers scholarships to bridge the gap between what people can afford and what they need to transform their lives, regardless of race, gender, and/or sexual orientation.
