Dear Colleagues & Friends,
Exciting news – I'm taking on the challenge of running my first New York City Marathon on November 3rd, and I'm doing it all for a fantastic cause that is close to my heart: SuitUp!
SuitUp is an incredible non-profit organization established in 2014, dedicated to closing the opportunity gap for students in low-income communities. They do this by running innovative business competitions that provide hands-on experience in solving real corporate challenges, like designing products for big names such as Nike and Apple. Through these competitions, students not only learn essential skills like marketing, finance, and strategy but also gain exposure to a world of possibilities in the corporate realm.
SuitUp needs our support to keep changing lives. By donating, you can help them serve over 7,500 students this year alone. Just to give you an idea:
-Just $29 can provide invaluable opportunities for one future CEO.
-$75 covers the cost of whiteboards for students, fostering creativity and collaboration.
-$100 supports a college student to facilitate one of these empowering competitions.
-And $250 goes towards student cash prizes for an entire SuitUp event!
I've witnessed firsthand how career readiness programs and
mentorship positively influence young lives. Supporting SuitUp means advancing
towards a future where every student, regardless of their background, has
access to the opportunities they deserve.
My goal is to raise $3,000, and I can't do it without your help!
Together, we can empower the next generation of leaders!
Please consider making a donation on my fundraising page. Your support means the world to me and to the students who will benefit from SuitUp's programs.
With Gratitude,
Amy Caljean
