Hey, Friends!
Guess what? I’m back at it again—running the LA Marathon on Sunday, March 16, 2025, for the SECOND time! That’s 26.2 miles of sweat, determination, and possibly questioning my life choices all over again. But you know what? It’s 100% worth it because I’m running for a cause that means a lot to me: Strides in Recovery.
Here’s why this is so special: Strides in Recovery helps people in addiction recovery discover their strength through the healing power of running and walking. They’re not just pounding the pavement—they’re rebuilding their lives, one step at a time. Strides in Recovery isn’t just about running, it’s about transforming lives. They help people in addiction recovery rebuild their strength, confidence, and hope through running and walking. These folks aren’t just out here jogging; they’re out here reclaiming their lives, one step at a time.
So, why do this all over again?
Because recovery doesn’t stop. Every step matters, every finish line inspires, and every single person deserves a second (or third or fourth) chance at life. Plus, I believe in this cause so much that I’m willing to voluntarily sign up for blisters and sore legs again.
Now, let’s talk about YOU.
I’m doing the running (again), but you can skip the sweat and still be part of something amazing.
Your donation will help Strides in Recovery:
Keep their weekly running/walking programs going strong.
Show people in recovery they’re stronger than they think.
Build a community of support and belonging for those rebuilding their lives.
Let's share the Love And make a positive impact together!
🏅 Help me stride towards a $650 goal! 🏅 Your donation supports Strides in Recovery, helping those in addiction treatment programs conquer their own marathons of recovery. Every step counts, and every dollar makes a difference! (See link in my bio)
Let’s make a positive impact together! Donate and share the love. 🙌 Thank you for supporting sobriety, one stride at a time! 💙 #RunWithPurpose #StridesInRecovery #SecondMarathonJourney #runyourrun #twentysixpointtwo #dontpoopyourpants @stridesinrecovery @lamarathon
