Gallop NYC is an outstanding organization which supports New Yorkers with disabilities and trauma with therapeutic horseback riding opportunities - and not too far from Manhattan. I got the chance to volunteer at GallopNYC during Covid, met with the trainers, the cute ponies and horses and witnessed the tremendous benefits their work has on the riders.
