A MESSAGE FROM Arely Rodriguez
I’m running the Chicago Marathon in honor of my daughter Aubry. Aubry was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). PKD is a genetic condition that causes cysts to grow on the kidneys and can lead to serious, lifelong complications. 
This marathon is more than a race. Every mile I train and every step I take on race day is going to be for my baby. Through this run I’m raising awareness and funds to support critical research, education, and resources that bring us closer to better treatments.
