When my brother was diagnosed with MS over 14 years ago, my life changed forever -- although I wouldn't truly understand how for some time. Fast forward to the evolving ways to create reasons to give, and I can confidently say that running was at the bottom. When we started fundraising, our pub crawl in Seattle was much more my speed...

Last October, I decided to start moving these thicc, furry legs to see if I could match (half) of Claire's effort to run a marathon as she did in New York. I have not quite experienced the full runner's high, but I have experienced a sports hernia, a hip strain, plantar fasciitis, and calf splints. Why? Because running is pain, and pain is funny when it's not yours. Thank you for donating to my page and please laugh with me as I attempt to run the longest continuous distance of my life. Running is pain, but here we go!
