A MESSAGE FROM Ben

I was diagnosed with Autism when I was 2 and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has been such an important part of helping me learn and grow. I love to help other people understand Autism and want to help raise money and give back so they can help others. The Eagles have been so supportive and this challenge will raise awareness of Autism.

On May 18, 2019 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. I need your support to reach my goal and assist those currently affected as well as future generations. Thank you!

    In honor of Autism Awareness Month our students and staff participated in two dress down days. 4/1/19 our students in 4th-8th grades donated $1 and wore red/yellow/blue shirts and blew bubbles as a campus to start of our Acceptance Activities! Teachers donated $5 to wear jeans and wore their Autism Awareness shirts as well as taught our kids about Autism and ways to show our friends acceptance. On 4/4/19 our students again donated $1 to wear their Eagles colors and staff donated $5 for jeans and Eagles wear to celebrate Ben’s assembly! Our schools were honored to have Ben attend and he has everyone buzzing and inspired! Thank you for all you do Ben! You have 1,000 new friends in Pennsauken!
