A MESSAGE FROM Beneduccis Against Brain Cancer
November 3rd, 2024, I will be running the New York City Marathon on behalf of the Brain Tumor Foundation, and am seeking donations to a cause that I have become very connected to over the last 4 years.
Throughout his life, he has lived by his mantra of "keeping your compass true north" by doing the right thing at every juncture of your life even if it may not be a sensible option. He has been able to navigate running large companies, building one from the ground up and taking it public on the New York Stock exchange, all while coordinating the very impactful meetings around never missing his children's sporting events, trick-or-treating, birthday parties, you name it. He has lived his entire life, often times to his own detriment, helping everyone else out before himself and, as a result, has impacted so many people's lives along his journey. I am tremendously proud to call him my father.
With that in mind, our family has set out and build a family insurance entity with his selfless way of living at its core. An altruist is defined as, "one unselfishly devoted to the welfare of others before their own", we decided to name our company, Altruis Group. It will be an entity that allows us to spread our father's outlook to others as he continues to battle this disease and well into the future. I will be running the New York City Marathon this year to show support for my father and all those fighting against this horrible disease. We hope that his battle can energize others to keep living life to the fullest.
