A MESSAGE FROM Blaise's fundraising page
Hi! I’m Blaise, and I’m running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon for Team Boomer in support of the cystic fibrosis community.
This will be my third marathon – after Asheville (2023) and Philadelphia (2024) – but this one feels different. It’s my first time fundraising, and I’m learning how something as personal as running can be directed toward something far bigger than myself.
Running has grounded and humbled me in a way no other sport ever has. The long miles strip things down and remind me what matters. It has deepened some of my closest friendships – built through shared miles and struggle – and tied me to the places I’ve lived and raced. From Concord (MA) to Middlebury (VT) to now Brooklyn (NY), running has made each place feel personal.
Thank you for supporting this effort. I’m incredibly grateful to run – and fundraise – for something that matters.
