A MESSAGE FROM E.L. Matta Crew
I am running in memory of my father and my grandmother.

Eliecer was a beloved spouse, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He lost his battle to cancer on July 15, 2020. (b. Oct 2, 1952)

Lucila was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She also lost her battle to cancer on May 21, 2020. (b. April 16, 1928)

We are running to honor these two beautiful people who will forever be missed.

I am taking on Team In Training’s Resilience Challenge to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. I will conquer 50 miles throughout the month of September, Blood Cancer Awareness Month, while fundraising and raising awareness for blood cancers. Blood cancer patients need our support now more than ever in these challenging times. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is at the forefront of the fight against cancer and provides critical support to blood cancer patients across the country. I invite you to be #TNTRESILIENT in the face of cancer by making a donation or by joining me in this challenge!
