A MESSAGE FROM Brian Runs For Brains
This year I am running the NYC Marathon in honor of Colin Clive and his inspiring fight against Brain Cancer. Colin was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018 and fought courageously against it for over 5 years. Throughout his fight, Colin's spirit never waivered, inspiring anyone who heard his story and watched him battle. In 2021, while undergoing treatment, Colin lost both of his parents within the same week to separate tragedies. Devastated by their loss, Colin held strong and was surrounded by multiple communities who came together to support him in his hardest times. Multiple fundraisers were launched to assist Colin in his battle with the total nearing $1 million. For the next 2 years Colin fought admirably against brain cancer until his passing in July 2023.
While Colin's fight is over, the legacy and impact he left behind is not forgotten. This year my friends and I joined forces with Brain Tumor Foundation to honor his journey and raise funds for those battling brain cancer as well as their families. In Colin's honor, I ask that you please support his cause by donating and sharing his story to anyone you can. Thank you for your time and your consideration for his story and our continued fight.
