When we moved to Florida a few years ago we started a medical group home through APD (Agency for Persons with Disabilities.) http://apd.myflorida.com/ and still successfully run it. The APD works in partnership with local communities and private providers to assist people who have developmental disabilities and their families. APD also provides assistance in identifying the needs of people with developmental disabilities for supports and services. We serve individuals whose disabilities range from Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome and More. We put great care into what we do and a lot of love. To be able to support the Eagles and Autism is something I had to take part in right away. Being born and raised outside Philadelphia you might come to expect I am a big Eagles fan. Which is true!
On May 19, 2018 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. I need your support to reach my goal and assist those currently affected as well as future generations.
I will be taking part in the 50mile road bike portion of the event. Some of you may know I love to road bike and do so around 100miles every week. March 25th 2018 in fact will be my first 100mile race.
