A MESSAGE FROM Brynn
Over the past couple years I have dedicated my energy to living a better, healthier and more active lifestyle. New York was a large part of my fitness journey with many runs throughout the city and Central Park while I was working there. When I decided I wanted to run a marathon, NYC was the only place I wanted to do it. To make this goal a reality, I am running for charity.
Enter the Luechtefeld family. I was blessed to meet them through church a couple years ago and was immediately impressed by the entire family’s dedication to living happy and healthy lives. From the outside looking in, you would never know two of their three children have Cystic Fibrosis. When it came time to pick what charity to run on behalf of, it just made sense to run for the CF Foundation, because to me the Luechtefeld family embodies how we all should live: Taking every obstacle in stride and continually taking the steps to live our best lives- one breath at a time.
The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Breathe Team is to inspire supporters of the CF community to participate in premier endurance events across the country. Our goal is to raise the funds needed to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
