A MESSAGE FROM Candice runs the Kilimanjaro half marathon
Hey Everyone!
As most of you know, Tanzania and The Foundation for Tomorrow ( TFFT ) are extremely important to me. It all started in 2006 when I volunteered at the Nkoaranga orphanage in Tanzania. I fell in love with the country and the people and knew that this place would be a part of my life forever. I learned about TFFT a short time later. The Foundation for Tomorrow provides quality education to vulnerable and orphaned children in Tanzania. They believe that geography should not dictate how much or the quality of education you receive. The passion and mission behind TFFT inspired me. In 2016, I began sponsoring Angel which has given me a greater purpose in life. Whenever I get a chance, I like to challenge myself and help raise money for TFFT. In 2018, I participated in RideTZ which is a 400 mile bike ride across Tanzania. It was an adventure of a lifetime. In 2019, I ran the Kilimanjaro half marathon without ever running before and I loved it. This year I will be running the half marathon again and raising money for The Foundation for Tomorrow.
