A MESSAGE FROM Caroline
This year, I will be running my second Chicago marathon and dedicating my run to The Foundation for Tomorrow! The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) envisions a world where all children contribute to society as active and empowered citizens free of exclusion, disadvantage, and vulnerability. All of TFFT's programs have specific areas of focus - scholarship, teacher training, or psychosocial support - but all work toward creating a more equitable world by combating vulnerability through education. This year, there is meaning to my every mile in Chicago. I traveled to Tanzania this past February and was able to witness the magnitude of TFFT's impact. From meeting the incredible scholars and alumni across the country of Tanzania, to walking the halls of the new TFFT Learning Centre, I cannot wait to take every step of my 26.2 miles in support of TFFT! This year, your donations will help TFFT to ensure a lasting, measurable, and positive impact on the educational opportunities of young people of Tanzania, their trajectory in life, and their contribution to their own communities. Donations will be used to help fund students through TFFT's Scholarship Program, to invest in teachers through the Teacher Training Program, and to support the new Learning Centre which will serve as a hub offering multiple types of programming at the community level. If you can't tell, I'm thrilled to run Chicago in support of TFFT. Thank YOU for supporting me and TFFT!
