I am honored to announce that I’m running the New York City Marathon in support of the Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) this November! 

Although I love to run and do so most days, I’ve actually never run an organized race. So why not start with the most exciting marathon in existence! It will be an honor to represent such a powerful and important force (Child Rescue Coalition) through the streets of New York City where we have just opened our newest GeoComply office 

I’m dedicated to smashing my goal of a $50,000 fundraising target to support the CRC’s mission - and I need your help to do so! 

My life’s mission is to learn from data and build technology that directly helps people and ultimately improves the world. This is the reason I joined GeoComply and this is the reason I’m running this marathon. The technology and mission of the Child Rescue Coalition is directly addressing a growing and particularly frightening crime that has become increasingly prevalent in this digital world. There are now over 80,000 reports each day of suspected child exploitation, and this is number is increasing. 

Having two small children myself, I feel deeply concerned about this growing problem, especially as the internet will inevitably become even more immersive in the future. I feel the time to act is now to change this trajectory and create a better future for them and children all around the world. 

CRC builds technology and gives highly effective tools to law enforcement and they do this completely free of charge. These tools provide crucial information to investigators who can locate and arrest criminals who are abusing children by creating and trading child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

I love working at GeoComply due to the company’s strong focus on social responsibility. GeoComply’s partnership with CRC is a perfect example of dedicated, passionate people coming together to make a difference. We must work together, and do it now, to combat child exploitation.
