I’m honored and excited to be running the New York City Marathon alongside my Dad again. 

I am also proud to be fundraising with the Release Foundation. I’m immensely grateful for your donation toward my fundraising goal. The money raised will make an impact in providing access for treatment to those suffering from Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness. Together, we can collectively impact this issue that affects each and every one of us in one way or another.

The Release Foundation:
The Release Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all who are ready and willing to seek professional treatment, are able. Substance Use Disorder and mental illness destroy the lives of too many people from underserved communities who may not have the resources for proven treatments. The Release Foundation offers scholarships to bridge the gap between what people can afford and what they need to transform their lives, regardless of race, gender, and/or sexual orientation.

    Charles, I’m glad you are making this run and I was particularly drawn to the organization. Last Sunday my good child hood friend took his life. He suffered from mental illness & drug abuse. Its been particularly hard for me the last few days so it’s good to see some people making a stand on this issue that hits all walks of life.
