PS75 is a gem, an NYC public elementary school serving grades K-5 with a conscious initiative towards the arts and diversity. Students in this school draw from a very diverse community; our school aims to provide all students with the necessary skills, knowledge and tools to be creative problem solvers, independent thinkers and caring and empathetic global citizens.
PS75 boasts one of the strongest and most coveted Spanish/English dual language programs in the City. Additionally, PS75 is one of five elementary schools in Manhattan that have the ASD Nest program—a program for students on the Autism spectrum. More than 65% of our students qualify for free lunch under federal low-income guidelines.
Throughout the year, volunteer parents work hard to raise funds for our in-school arts and enrichment and classroom support. These funds serve every student at PS75. We do not have the affluence of other District 3 schools, and yet are able to partner with our principal to provide robust enrichment programming at each grade level which includes kindergarten aides, an early bird reading program, Symphony Space, Young People's Chorus, Wellness in the Schools, Chess, and Dance Programs.
