I am so excited to be running my first marathon with Team Sandy Hook Promise! I have been so saddened to see the epidemic of mass shootings spreading through our country. This December marks ten years since the tragic day in Newtown, and unfortunately, children have continued to be victims of gun violence. I want to help drive action towards a safer future for our society, and Sandy Hook Promise is an incredible organization with programming and advocacy to help end gun violence.
Join us in protecting America’s children from gun violence in honor of the precious lives that were lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Your donation will help prevent gun violence through programs across schools nationwide and help advocate for policies advancing safety, mental health, and prevent gun violence.
I'll be trading in my Saturday hikes for Saturday long runs this summer but will have my peanut butter & jelly waffles and thumbs up selfies along for the ride. Hopefully I don't hit too many drawbridges on my runs! Thank you so much for your support for this wonderful organization!
