A MESSAGE FROM Chloe Runs to Fight ALS!
JANUARY 20TH UPDATE
Thank HOU for donating to my fundraising campaign! Your generous contributions allowed me to run for a reason, finish my first marathon, and give hope to ALS warriors across Texas. This campaign will be open until February 1st.

Just before the MLB’s first-annual Lou Gehrig Day in 2021, I learned that a close relative of mine was diagnosed with ALS. While accepting the news was a scary and emotional process, what inspired me was an MLB post about the disease: “There is a shortage of funding, but not of ideas!”
After running my third AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta, I thought of new goals to conquer, one being a famous marathon in my hometown: Houston, Texas. My aunt and uncle flew in from Illinois many times to run the half and full respectively when I was growing up; I remember how exciting it was to watch them finish, even in the cold.
After learning that the Chevron Houston Marathon returns for its 50th running, I knew this would be a great goal to achieve. While I’m going beyond in the longest run of my life, what really matters is raising money and awareness for lives affected by ALS.
Please support my fundraising efforts for the 2022 Houston Marathon Race Weekend. No donation is too small. Please click on the donate button!
