A MESSAGE FROM 2Moms3Boys5Boroughs
Thank you for supporting my run for the Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc! This will be my second year as a full-time Nursing Department professor. I have been a nurse for 19 years, a nurse educator for 14 years, and a competitive runner for 26 years. Nursing, running, and coaching the sport have all shaped my life and made me who I am today. I will be running my sixth NYC marathon, proudly representing QCC. As a new faculty member, I have learned how the college cares for students in so many ways. I have also felt embraced by the community at QCC myself. My wife and I have three young boys who we strive to teach kindness and acceptance to all. The last two marathons I have run with the words “2 Moms, 3 Boys, 5 Boroughs” on my shirt to represent my family and inclusion. I look forward to raising funds for this wonderful school and representing them and my family for the 2023 NYC marathon!
