Hey y'all! I'm less than 2 weeks out from running the Chicago Marathon and I have a little favor to ask. I'm working on a marathon playlist to bump during the race (Bluetooth connection-dependent, ofc). If you have a song you think I should include on the playlist, send me your rec with a little note about the rec. Some suggestions: - Pump up jams you love (and you think I'll love too) - Tunes we've bonded over at some point or another - Songs you've used to cross your own finish line (literal or metaphorical) - A song that will make me laugh when I want to cry I can't wait to start pulling this playlist together! xo -C

A MESSAGE FROM Claire Woodcock
I'm running the 2024 Chicago Marathon for my late mother, Linda Woodcock. 

She was a longtime public radio listener and supporter. I'm convinced listening to NPR shows like "Wait, Wait! Don't Tell Me," "Car Talk," and "Morning Edition" with her made me the person I am today. 

That's why I'm thrilled to represent Team WBEZ this fall. Consider supporting my fundraiser in honor of her and in support of local news.
