This is my fourth year "running" for Every Mother Counts along with my Alydia teammates, and my second year doing it virtually. For 2021, I've joined their Global Fitness Challenge and committed to bike 200 miles in May. Mothers deserve more than a day - how about the whole month of May?

EMC works to ensure safe, respectful, and equitable maternity care for all. Founded by the inimitable Christy Turlington Burns, EMC's work spans advocacy, awareness, grant-making, all with the goal of making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.
