A MESSAGE FROM Corinne's Fundraising Page

Hello!

My name is Corinne and I am a member of the Eagles Cheerleading team. Prior to making the squad last May I was a Elementary Special Education Teacher in my home state of Hawaii. I spent 5 years teaching on the west side of the island of Oahu. The personal and academic challenges faced by my students made it a lot harder for them to achieve the standards expected by the education system. It was my job to create a learning environment that was safe and right for each student's unique abilities.

I am excited to continue my support for education and the children of the future here in the Philadelphia area. On May 19, 2018 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. I need your support to reach my goal of $300. **UPDATE: Thanks to YOUR support I have reached my first goal of $300 and am now setting a new goal of $750!

**UPDATE 2: We have made it to the month of MAY and the event is right around the corner! I want to thank everyone who has donated so far. I am PROUD to say that with YOUR support I surpassed my second goal of $750. That is just amazing! Please continue to donate if you can and I look forward to seeing some of you on race day!

You can help in two ways. The first is by donating to my personal page here. The second is by running the 5K along side me and my fellow teammates on May 19th at Lincoln Financial Field.

I read your message & respect the strength & courage you have to work with special needs kids and to be so far away from home. It touched me so much that I’ve decided to help you reach your goal. The donation in my name is only part of it. The company that I work for has a donation matching program that matches my donations at a rate of 3 to 1.
