A MESSAGE FROM Courtney Furlough Chi Marathon Fundraising
As you all may have seen, I have been running through Chicago in prep for the Chicago Distance Series on my way to the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
I am a vascular surgeon with a particular interest in peripheral arterial disease hoping to hold myself accountable to my patients by practicing what I preach and staying moving and healthy. I run for my patients, for my parents who gave me the work ethic to truly believe I could do anything, for myself personally and professionally, and for publicizing and bringing awareness to peripheral arterial disease which affects so many in my community.
Please help me support my running organization and run family, Peace Runners 773. Their mission to bring health equity and education by movement and community impact is inspiring and so necessary.
