A MESSAGE FROM Daniel’s NYC Marathon Team
In September 2023, we lost our dear friend Daniel Megahey to a brain tumour. 

In the years previous, he always battled hard. He trained for the NYC Marathon on multiple occasions, but ultimately never got to complete it due to Covid travel restrictions. Despite this, Daniel impressively completed a full marathon in Galway, Ireland, back in December 2020 in horrific conditions. This was after having gone through significant treatment just weeks previous. To top it all off, Daniel and co’s fundraising efforts at that time exceeded $50,000, with all proceeds going to The Brain Tumor Foundation. 

In Daniel’s honour, and in aid of the Brain Tumor Foundation, we on Daniel’s Team will run the full NYC Marathon this year, on Sunday November 3rd, 2024. Any and all donations are massively appreciated, as they go a long way towards helping ensure that people suffering from brain tumours will have better treatment and more hope in the years to come.
