I was board and raised in Rialto California and graduated from Eisenhower High, where after high school I joined the U.S. Army. As a disabled veteran, this isn't just a marathon for me—it's so much more! 

 For me, running in my first marathon, the Los Angeles Marathon, transcends physical endurance—it symbolizes triumph over adversity. Having navigated life through military service-connected injuries, mental and behavioral health challenges, recidivism, and homelessness, this run serves as a testament to resilience. This marathon is a form of therapy and self-love, and as a reminder and celebration of the victory over all the moments I didn’t believe I’d make it though. That’s what running has become for me. An outlet for healing, building confidence, and challenging myself to move forward evening if just one tiny stride at a time. 

 I’ve found in life that we don’t need to go through things and to never be afraid to raise your hand for help. This is one of those moment. I need your help! So join me in my first marathon and help me raise the funds for the registration.
