This October, I'll be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, one of the world's most iconic marathons.
Crossing that finish line has been a dream of mine for years, but this race is about something much bigger than running 26.2 miles.
I'm proud to be running on behalf of the YMCA, an organization that creates opportunities for children, families, and communities through youth programs, health initiatives, education, and safe spaces where people can grow and thrive.
As part of the marathon charity team, I've committed to raising $2,300. Every donation no matter the size helps make these life changing programs possible.
Training for this marathon has taught me that every mile is easier when someone believes in you. Your support reminds me that I'm not running alone.
Whether you donate $10, $25, $50, or simply share this page, you're becoming part of this journey.
On race day, I'll carry every supporter with me through all 26.2 miles.
Thank you for believing in this mission and helping make a difference in our community.
See you at the finish line!
David.
