A MESSAGE FROM Derek's Fundraising Page
On May 19, 2018 I will join the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Philadelphia area residents who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative autism research. 100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University, and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
My father and I will be running for my younger brother, Ethan, who has autism. Despite his disability, Ethan has touched the lives of many with his sense of humor and contentment with life. While living with an autistic sibling can be trying at times, it has taught me more about family, love, and life than I ever could have imagined.
