This year, in pursuit of completing the 6 world marathon majors, I’m taking on the Berlin Marathon to support The Foundation for Tomorrow (TFFT) - an incredible organization dedicated to providing quality education and support for orphaned and vulnerable children in Tanzania.
The Why
- Tanzania has one of the world’s youngest
populations, with 45% under 15 years old
- 5.1 million children in Tanzania aged 7-17 are
out of school
- 28% of Tanzanian adolescents complete
secondary school
- 1% of Tanzanians enroll in higher education
My Why
Education has the power to break cycles of poverty and create lasting change. Every step I take in Berlin will be in honor of the students whose futures are shaped by TFFT’s commitment to academic excellence, psychosocial support, and life skills development. As an aspiring social worker and psychologist, I have seen firsthand how access to education and mental health support can transform lives, and I am passionate about advocating for children’s well-being and opportunities.
I would love your support in making a difference! Whether it’s a small donation or sharing this page, every contribution helps provide children with the resources they need to succeed.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
