I am currently a Lead Instructional Coach in the Chicago Public School District in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
North Lawndale is a community full of resilience, talent, and potential, but many students here face challenges like gang violence and poverty. That’s where North Lawndale College Prep (NLCP) steps in—not just as a school, but as a safe haven and a launchpad for success.
Programs like Peace Warriors, which teaches students to advocate for nonviolence, and Phoenix PACT, a scholarship that allows students to attend college with no out-of-pocket costs, are just a few examples of how NLCP changes lives.
I’m asking for your support to help fund these incredible programs. Every dollar raised will directly benefit students by providing academic and social-emotional resources that set them up for success.
