A MESSAGE FROM Evy's Marathon Fundraising Page
Hi, friends. I'm running the Chicago marathon in 2023 in support of The Salvation Army's social service work in the North and Central Illinois Division.
This goals is twice as important to me because:
1) it supports my mental and physical health
2) it financially supports the Development Department at Division Headquarters of which I am a team member (Director of Gift & Estate Planning)
You may know The Salvation Army for its red kettle holiday drive, but did you know that The Salvation Army has been serving Chicago since 1885 and is the largest direct provider of social services in Chicagoland and the entire state of Illinois? It's what makes me most proud to work for this important organization.
Your financial and moral support would be appreciated as I take on this ambitious goal. Thank you in advance for cheering me on and for supporting the social service work of the North and Central Illinois Division of The Salvation Army with your donation.
