Hi friends!!! You’ve reached my fundraising page, and I am so excited to be running my very first marathon! Thank you for being here and supporting this journey, it truly means more than you know. As I train for the Chicago Marathon, I have the incredible honor of running in support of CASA-Court Appointed Special Advocates- an organization that works to ensure every child in foster care has a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. CASA volunteers advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, standing in their corner and helping their voices be heard. Children have always held such a special place in my heart, from working at Surf City Christian Preschool growing up to nannying throughout college. I am so honored to represent an organization that has the power to truly change a child’s life. While I’m deeply motivated by my personal dream of completing my first marathon, knowing that each mile could help impact a child’s future in ways I never imagined is what truly fuels me.
