I'm running the 2022 New York City Marathon to support Girls Inc. of NYC! It takes a village to accomplish a goal like this, so I am thrilled and thankful that you're here. Please take a look at the message below to learn more about my marathon journey!
WHY GINYC
Girls Inc. of NYC is an organization that I have worked with for 2 years as a Junior Board Executive. This is an organization that makes a big impact in the NYC community by working with highly trained professionals to deliver research-based curricula on a wide range of topics including financial literacy, STEM education, career readiness, and physical and emotional health in a supportive all-girls environment to over 8500 NYC K-12 girls. In working closely with GINYC, I've been blown away by the impact this organization makes to the girls in our community, and feel grateful to have met so many wonderful and inspiring women through this organization.
WHY THE NYC MARATHON
I have never been a runner. I am definitely not an athlete. But I am one thing: Determined! I want to run the marathon to accomplish something I would have previously thought impossible, and show myself how far I can go for something I care about. I truly believe I can do anything with a plan and a passion, and I know I can successfully tackle my first marathon.
