A MESSAGE FROM Glynis’s Fundraising for Recovery
Hello, my name is Glynis, and I am proud to say that I have been sober for five years. My journey to recovery has been filled with challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Today, I am combining my passion for running with my commitment to helping others in their recovery journeys by participating in the LA Marathon to raise funds for Beit T'Shuvah.
Running has not only been a source of physical strength for me but also a powerful metaphor for my recovery. Each mile I run reminds me of the miles I’ve traversed in my own life—overcoming obstacles, pushing through tough times, and celebrating the victories, both big and small. The rhythm of my feet hitting the pavement mirrors the steady progress I've made in my recovery, and it fuels my dedication to give back.
Beit T'Shuvah is an incredible organization that provides support and treatment for those struggling with addiction. I have seen firsthand how access to resources can change lives. Unfortunately, not everyone has the financial means to seek the help they need. That’s why I’m running this marathon—not just for myself, but for those who are seeking a lifeline. Your donations will help ensure that individuals who may not have the funds or resources can access the care they desperately need.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Together, we can help provide hope and healing for those on their own recovery journeys. Join me in making a positive impact—let’s run toward recovery together!
Thank you for your support.
With gratitude,
Glynis
